We are all weird in our own ways...

Am I right?

I was speaking to someone the other day who was worried about what people would think of her if she invested in something unusual.

What other people think of you is none of your business.

We are all doing weird shit all the time.

Or at least it looks weird to someone else.

Honestly, how weird is it to sit in front of your TV and scream at a bunch of men bashing into each other (football) or spend a bunch of time running without getting anywhere (treadmill).

Not saying these things are bad, but they are kinda weird...yet so common no one thinks twice.

I left a successful career and invested in starting an alpaca farm from scratch and am now surrounded by 30+ alpacas, 50+ chickens, 6 rabbits, 3 cats and a dog (oh yea, and my husband).

Um...weird?! Hell Yea!

Not everyone is going to love or approve all the choices we make.

In fact, most people are gonna probably think we are a little weird (well, that's when they think of us at all because, let's be honest, we are selfish and self-absorbed and spend most of our time thinking of ourselves).

But it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.

Even if they are an expert.

You are the ONLY expert in your life.

You are the only one that knows exactly what you need. Lean in and enjoy the journey.
